What is Chiropractic Care?

Chiropractic is simple, effective and remarkably safe. Chiropractors assess, diagnose and treat disorders of the musculoskeletal system (i,e, joints, muscles, nerves, tendons, and bones), without drugs or surgery. Chiropractic is based on these few simple concepts:

  • Our body is self-healing and self-regulating

  • Our Central Nervous System co-ordinates every cell, muscle and organ in our body

  • Interference to our Central Nervous System disrupts our body’s ability to run itself effectively. This is usually caused by a locked up joint and tight surrounding muscles. This is called Subluxation.

  • Chiropractors correct subluxation by applying a gently, precise adjustment to the spine, thereby restoring communication between the brain and the body.

Adjustments are hands-on techniques performed by a chiropractor to improve spinal alignment, restore joint mobility, and support the body’s natural ability to heal itself. These adjustments involve gentle, controlled pressure applied to specific joints, most commonly in the spine.

When done regularly, chiropractic adjustments can help maintain proper spinal health and prevent minor issues from becoming major problems.

Why Get Adjusted Regularly?

  • Promotes better posture and alignment

  • Reduces pain and stiffness

  • Supports whole-body wellness
